One of Finnegan Property Services’ own is running in the London Marathon for a great cause. Chartered Building Surveyor Lee Davison is running on behalf of Rennie Grove Hospice Care – a wonderful service which provides hospice care at home and in a day hospice for patients with a life-limiting illness in Herts and Bucks.
In Lee’s own words: “I am running the London Marathon 2016 in the aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care. Rennie Grove is a local charity providing care and support for patients with life limiting illness and their families by allowing the patients to be cared for at home surrounded by friends and family.
Beth and I have had first hand experience of the services provided as they offered support during both Sue and Lyns illness providing care to both of them and moral support to Beth. They made a huge difference to the final months and need all the donations that are available. Their Hospice at Home service is offered to patients and families free of charge and thier Fundraising Department works hard to raise the funds needed to keep our nurses on the road.
Rennie Grove receive less than 15% of their running costs from the NHS – less than half the national average given to UK hospices. This means they rely heavily on the generosity of people like you to fund over 85% of their £6.5 million annual running costs.”
We’re sponsoring Lee and hope you will consider doing so too. You can find his donations’ page here http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserPage.action?userUrl=LeeDavison2&pageUrl=2
Give please – because we know you want to!
