There’s never been a more exciting time to be part of Finnegan Property Services.
What’s more, we believe that our dynamic and talented team of professionals, plus a fantastic range of projects, are helping to dispel the myth that building surveying can be boring and unglamorous.
Far from it. Building surveying plays an increasingly crucial role in people’s lives. After all, buildings are directly connected to people, be it a first time buyer, a property developer or investor. We believe it is no longer enough to rely on technical knowledge or experience. Which is why we work hard on providing a service that goes above and beyond expectations. Our Business has been built on the ethos of communication, building relationships and trust and maintaining our standard and quality to the highest level.
Founder Damien Finnegan has recruited a team of skilled surveyors based not just on the letters beside their names, but on their individual personalities, characters, values and ethos. It’s important that everyone in the team wants to be successful, enjoys what they do and working with their colleagues.
In the last few years we have made steady progress due to developments within the core structure of the business and a strategy makeover which has seen the company flourish. Our growing team shares a positive dynamic and a vision to become one of the leading chartered surveying consultancies in London.
At Finnegan Property Services we have built a business around our people, which is why we have become recognized as a relationship-orientated organization. We deliver unrivalled value to our clients, not just as a result of our personable approach but collectively in our passion and attention to detail. Finnegan Property Services goes beyond clients’ expectations in our methods of delivery and operational procedures. We are award-winning and passionate about what we are building.

Surge in demand prompts an expansion drive at Finnegan Property Services
Building Surveying and Development Consultancy Finnegan Property Services is embarking on a recruitment and expansion drive to meet a growing demand for its services.
The firm will hire 3 new chartered building surveyors, to swell the ranks of its existing team of 20 consultants in London and the south east.
Led by co-founders Damien Finnegan and Eamon Roberts, Finnegan Property Services began trading in 2007 and quickly established a reputation for its high standards and customer service. The residential and property management sectors currently account for the bulk of the business. However, increasing demand for Planned Maintenance and Developer Services over the last two years has fuelled the need to expand the team.
The business has experienced consistent growth of circa 25% year-on-year. Damien Finnegan the firm’s managing director, said:
“Our success is a testament to the team’s dedication to deliver successful results for our clients. The business has been predominantly built on foundations of repeat business and word of mouth so it has been crucial for us to build a team of high calibre professionals who understand our client’s needs.
“Recent market research has shown that one of our clients’ biggest challenges is finding a firm who can deliver consistently. “
Launched during the stranglehold of the 2007 recession, Finnegan Property Services at first faced “difficult economic times” in its early days but benefitted from being a small, nimble firm, able to provide a level of client engagement that larger firms were finding it difficult to sustain.
“We stand in the shoes of our clients, we understand our clients’ needs, we build relationships and we believe that the future of our business is through the education we can deliver to our customers and our professional team.
The firm is further developing its social and educational ethos which has been instrumental to what is sure to be an exciting next chapter for the company in 2016 and the future to come.
FPS has grown its social status in recent times with its recent move to brand new offices in Ealing Broadway and the hiring of new business development manager Stephen Finnegan. As a group we are an outgoing and sociable bunch with the average age of the team being 33 years of age. We have organised several bonding and CSR events for 2016 which is exciting as it’s something we have never embarked on before.
Friday’s have also emerged into a great day in Finnegan Property Services beginning with ‘bacon buttie Friday’ and Friday night beverages now happens every week without fail due to popular demand!
“It’s really important that as a person you enjoy the work atmosphere which will become a big part of your life. It’s also vital that reflection on achievements we make as a group on a weekly basis are recognised and lamented on. The focus here is never on the individual rather on collective success as a team and I really believe that is one of the reasons why we are making real progress so far in 2015. “Everyone has to muck in with the teas and coffees around here” Stephen Jokes!
